Confluence partners with Hanover Psychiatry, a faculty practice of the Department of Psychiatry at Dartmouth.
Recognizing that in some cases psychotherapy interventions can be complemented by the addition of psychiatric care, Confluence draws on the expertise of the team at Hanover Psychiatry.
Services offered include neuropsychological assessments, psychiatric consultation and medication review. Neuropsychological assessments are valuable tools that inform Confluence clinicians treatment plans, help individuals better understand their strengths and challenges as well plan for discharge and follow-up care. Psychiatric consultations offer a comprehensive review of the psychological, biological, medical and social causes of emotional distress, which supports treatment related decisions and improves overall quality of care. Through the partnership with Hanover Pyschiatry, Confluence can offer a complete review of medications, their efficacy with the individual and any unintended effects.
