Stefani Zind, LICSW

Residential Program Director
Stefani Zind, LICSW, is a clinical social worker and educator with deep experience supporting young people and families through complex transitions. She brings over a decade of work across school counseling, outpatient therapy, wilderness programming, and family advocacy, with a practice grounded in relational trust, strengths‑based collaboration, and steady, attuned care. In her home state of Utah, Stefani helped develop a mentoring program for vulnerable adolescents from diverse backgrounds. This work highlighted the resilience of young people and ultimately inspired her to pursue social work. After completing her Master of Social Work at Utah State University, she and her family moved to Vermont, where she continued supporting children, teens, and families through a range of clinical and community‑based roles. Across settings, Stefani is known for her calm presence, her ability to build trust quickly, and her commitment to helping young people feel seen, capable, and connected. She brings this same steadiness to her leadership, fostering clear communication, collaborative problem‑solving, and a program culture where both staff and young people can thrive. In her new position as Program Director, Stefani is excited to guide a supportive and empowering residential community for young adults. She looks forward to partnering closely with families, strengthening program structure, and ensuring that young people have the relationships, resources, and opportunities they need to grow with confidence.
