Julia Boger-Hawkins

Dining Room Manager
Jules holds a B.A. in Sociology from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, and an M.A. in Climate & Society from Columbia University. She is passionate about sustainable food systems, and has worked in every facet of food production from farm to table.

Jules believes that healthy food should be accessible to everybody, and loves finding creative ways to address food access issues. In past roles, she served as a gleaning coordinator for Willing Hands, opened a community fridge in Strafford, Vermont, and operated a food pantry for patients receiving treatment at the Dartmouth Cancer Center. Her passion for food and culture is contagious, and she can often be found in the kitchen with participants whipping up a wide range of global cuisines.

When she’s not in the kitchen or garden, Jules usually roams the woods with her dogs Dilly and Diamond. She is also a lifelong reader, and hosts a longstanding book club that explores literary fiction written by women of color from around the world.
